The uKhahlamba Drakensberg Park is a World Heritage site in KwaZulu-Natal that is famous for its San rock art and hiking trails. Around 35000 individual paintings have been found in around 500 caves and rock shelters, making it one of the biggest in Africa. The oldest painting is 4000 years old. The mountains exceed the average altitude of 3000 meters making it the highest south of Kilimanjaro. This is an ideal place for a mountain hike or just a walk to enjoy abundant flora and fauna.
