Rhino Notching

Enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of the research team to notch either a black or white rhino at &Beyond Phinda Private Game Reserve in effort to conserve this endangered species. A vet will locate and dart the rhino while the ground crew with guests will follow in open vehicle. Once the rhino is asleep the team will notch the ear of the animal and insert a microchip into the horn, which is done for research and security monitoring.
